Atheists are terrible at forming logical arguments.
Claims like...the smartest physicists are atheist...therefore knowing the truth of physics sheds humans of belief in God.
This is a common fallacy that was debunked by several studies that proved people with high math and science scores face a choice in college of Physicists, engineering, Medicine, and biology. Atheists enter, overwhelmingly, the fields of Origins and Theists overwhelmingly--Medicine (Doctors). So most are already atheists. It was surmised that Theists, had no compulsive desire to search for an answer they already felt they had and chose to help people instead.
Category mistake.
Because we understand the laws of the universe..it had no Creator.
This is like a car being transported to the distant past and finally after many years they understand how the car works--therefore no one designed it.
Gambler fallacy
Because our single universe is fine tuned to the probability of effectually zero---there must be an almost uncountable amount of other universes to make up for why we hit the jackpot.
This presupposes naturalism.
Another
Naturalistic Science is the only way to truth
--yet that statement is not derived from science--it is a philosophy
My favorite is
1 God would make his existence proof positive by writing his name in the sky or inscribing it on the atom or something similar.
2 he didn't do so
3 Therefore, God doesn't exist
Anytime someone makes a claim like this just tell him to form it like this:
1 John would make his existence proof positive by writing his name in the sky or inscribing it on the atom or something similar if he were God
2 he didn't do so
3 Therefore, John is not God
Freewill
We have no freewill
Thoughts are causes by random collisions
Therefore, my choice to believe I have no freewill cannot be based on logic
Time is an illusion
Oh by the way, here's how the Big bang transpired.
When atheists strip away all the fallacies and incoherent cognitive dissonance in their beliefs all they are left with is.."just because"
